About Retallack Cat Skiing
The history of Retallack
It is a story right out of the gold rush era in the wild west! As many as 7,000 people once lived where the modern day Retallack Lodge sits on the Kaslo River, in the heart of the southern Selkirk Mountains of BC.
Company beginnings
Ironically, the dream of snowcat skiing in the area was born by a local mining family. Changing their vision from riches beneath the ground to that which lies on top, was just the beginning.
Faces of winter
The wisdom and expertise behind the snowcat skiing comes from longtime industry experts, that also believe in the Retallack Dream.
Kootenay Country
Roll your sleeves up, and dig into other Selkirk riches and entertainment: Kootenay Country offers much to see and do in all seasons. A spectacular landscape rich in history and undiscovered beauty, plus the special people make Retallack an unforgettable place to visit and experience!
